k-state kiosk

Our kiosk project revolved around the concept of movement. The shape of the kiosk embodied wheat as it swayed in the Tallgrass prairie. The kiosk is based in Gimhae, South Korea. The idea of the kiosk was to showcase Kansas State University and bring new students to our Manhattan campus. We wanted to give students worldwide the chance to see all that Kansas State has to offer. Brochures are placed throughout and a curved LED screen showing the most iconic places on campus. The idea of empowering students was important throughout. Kansas State values are diversity, social justice, critical thinking, creativity, and empathy. Although Kansas State is a university in the middle of the United States, we want to focus on bringing students from everywhere, creating more diversity, and empowering new students.
