“NEXT is a start-up clean beauty cosmetics company based in the heart of New York City. NEXT was founded by a woman whose family migrated to the U.S. from Korea when she was 9 years old. As she started experimenting with a variety of cosmetics in her teens, she not only realized that some caused her skin irritation but also, she had difficulty finding solutions to match her skin tone. This was the spark that is now being realized with the launch of NEXT. The concept, RAW, encompasses an iconic office in the heart of New York City for a start-up, immigrant-owned beauty company, NEXT. The experience was designed to embody “sustainability, wellness, and innovation”. Including a virtual reality room to re-imagine digital showrooms for potential retailers, influencers, and customers. The overarching idea was to preserve some of the raw elements and pull in the grit of New York City to integrate with the raw elements of the brand’s products to allow the brand’s image to shine. Raw combined with the philosophies of Next, the vision comes through in graphics, illustrations, color, typography, and space.”
