the avant “In French, the word Avant means “to go forward,” which was the main idea behind the design of The Avant Hotel, Restaurant, and Co-Working Space. The Art Deco era was a time of progression and forward-thinking, a time when there was a celebration of technological advancement and restored faith in social progress. During this time, there was a focus on enhancing the quality of life of all users. This era was not one of a single style, but a collection. Our Art Deco-inspired design embodies empowerment through it’s architectural beauty influenced by the progressive Art Deco era, with the touches of modernism throughout that represents the progress that has been made thus far. The connection of the spaces allows users to independently move throughout the space by means of wayfinding, as well as encourages individuals to have a work-life balance with the connection of a co-working space to the hotel to a restaurant. ” — Sarah West, Katie Cunningham, Jaclyn Schulte & Brett LaFleur Slide 1 Slide 1 (current slide) Slide 2 Slide 2 (current slide) Slide 3 Slide 3 (current slide) Slide 4 Slide 4 (current slide)
