The design is intended to strengthen family relations with gathering spaces and a nurturing environment that provides activities and storage adequate for a small lake house. Research suggests nature reduces stress, so this home includes indoor spaces that view the surrounding natural environment and outdoor spaces that support human activities. Empowerment is expressed by multiple aspects of the design intended to provide a nurturing second home for the Greenes.”
