My aim was to use my voice to empower these children who are unable to stand up for themselves while detailing the consequences they face due to the dangerous work they’re forced to partake in. Furthermore, my essay discusses how clothing brands can improve their codes of conduct and grievance mechanisms so that child laborers in the fashion industry may empower themselves and end their mistreatment through the freedom to complain and advocate for their rights.
