“This project embodies empowerment for me because of mix and matching elements. Using a mix of grunge style and bubblegum pop from the 1990’s you have the styles that were mutually exclusive for their time. Then they were brought together for this project and I focused on a modern use of the two styles together. Empowerment for me means pushing the boundaries of what you thought was possible and creating a new path for yourself.”
