“This project embodies empowerment in that it empowers mature women to still express themselves and the subculture they were so active in their youth. This allows women that are now moving on in their lives that they can still pay homage to their roots in goth culture. The purpose of this project is to empower aging goth women to balance their day to day with the culture they grew up in.”
