“150 years ago, it was laughable to start your own business if you were a female. It was not acceptable for women to have a traditional job, let alone be the boss. Women who made the impossible possible by pursuing entrepreneurship have empowered all aspiring female entrepreneurs throughout history, including myself. Female entrepreneurs in Kansas have served as my focus of inspiration because they have shown that it is possible to build an empire anywhere. They made female entrepreneurship a respected practice and created a path for others to follow. This is my letter to say thank you to the women who fought for change and believed in themselves, even when others didn’t.”
