kaleidoscope

Empowerment in the Ramey House is defined by the overall design promoting the well-being and healthy development of the client’s child with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). My concept, kaleidoscope, is intended to create an appropriate level of sensory stimulation and safety for the child while creating a dynamic and engaging space for other users. As a designer, it is important to empower underrepresented groups in society, and the design of the Ramey House emphasizes how a universal design approach can create a space that promotes the well-being of every single user.
